The only drawbacks to the refrigerator is its flimsy main drawer and the difficult-to-use main door latch to the right. The fridge is an excellent choice for single households and kitchenettes that need more storage space than a standard French-door fridge can offer. It also has an internal dispenser that gives easy access to drinking water.

The door bins have plenty of space and the top shelf can be folded down to create a half-depth shelf to accommodate taller items. The temperature in the rest of the freezer remained at around 36 degrees.
Another issue is that the refrigerator doors have handles that are sunken on the inside and underneath making it difficult for people who are shorter to comfortably move them closed. This may seem insignificant, but we prefer front mounted handles on refrigerators to make them easier to open and close.
The fridge is costly however it is worth it for anyone looking to have a sleek look in their kitchen. This fridge is recommended for those who want to upgrade their current fridge or are building new homes and want to have a seamless kitchen.
Samsung Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator
The RF23M8090SG is Samsung's latest and most stylish counter-depth French door fridge, priced at $4,200. It's a good-looking model that boasts useful features like an autofill water pitcher and a temperature-adjustable "FlexZone" drawer. It also performed well during our cooling test, but we're not a fan of the gimmicky handles or flimsy crisper bins.
One thing that distinguishes the RF23M8090SG apart is the Bespoke line which lets you personalize your fridge using removable color panels which can be swapped when you're bored of the ones you have currently. There are 11 different colors with pastels through more vibrant hues. There are also four metallic finishes. Some of these panels can be personalized by adding photos or text, making the fridge a personal touch point that can match your tie-dye Crocs, Rick Owens dress or Andy Warhol banana neon sign.
You can even alter the color of the fridge's LED lighting, which is nice. And the refrigerator's interior has a smart finish that reduces smudges and makes cleaning a breeze. The only downsides of the RF23M8090SG are its somewhat congested beverage center and a bit of a learning curve in opening the door-in-door feature that houses a water jug and a dispenser. You need to look for an unmarked lever on the side of the door that is halfway across, and when you do, it opens an additional door inside the fridge, which houses the pitcher docking station as well as the water dispenser, and two shelves for drinks.
The 6.8 cubic feet freezer compartment is large enough to store a lot frozen food. It also comes with the slide-out drawer, which lets you access the food you want without opening the entire compartment. The freezer also has an ice-cream bin style compartment to store small items as well as a large capacity storage drawer to store bulkier frozen foods. The drawer can be locked by using a password to ensure that unwanted guests are kept out. It also has an LED that lets you see what's inside at a glance. The freezer is also able to monitor energy usage and help you cut your energy bill by using the SmartThings that are smart and enabled with Energy mode.
French Door Fridge freezer 900mm wide are a great addition to any kitchen. They are sleek and are a great fit for any size of room. Counter-depth refrigerators are a great option if you're looking for this design, but without the added height. This model from Frigidaire which we've thoroughly tested and has received an above average rating in our evaluations due to its reasonable price and thoughtful features, such as an adjustable temperature drawer.
It also has a few annoying problems. Our test data indicates that the FGHB2866PF warms up quite a bit in the freezer, and it can get uncomfortably warm in the fridge's interior shelving. That's reflected in our heat maps which show how much the interior temps fluctuate minute by minute. The orange region in the upper right, which represents the butter bin, is particularly warm for most of our time of testing. It might not appear too awful at first glance however, it means that the fridge is spending a large part of the time at 33 degrees.
It's also worth mentioning that the FGHB2866PF isn't an Energy Star-certified model, which could be a consideration for some buyers. The issue is that this fridge isn't a great choice. It's not equipped with the latest features and durable construction which makes it difficult to recommend it over better options at this price point.
In many ways, the Frigidaire is a stainless-steel model of fridge you might see at your local appliance store. It's a safe choice with a smooth finish that looks great and is resistant to smudges, but it does not do much to distinguish itself from competitors that are more feature-rich and more affordable.
If you're looking for a counter-depth French-door fridge but don't want to spend a lot of money the FGHC2331PF might be worth considering. It has enough storage to meet the requirements of most families and does a great job keeping food fresh. Even even if it's not a green model, it's much less expensive than our top-rated models.
